Some of the HP laptops have problem of over heating. How to escape from this?

That is a nice tablet! Heat is an issue with devices from all manufacturers. You can purchase a cool pad that a laptop or tablet can sit on or you can purchase an aftermarket heatsink for your processor. I would try the cool pad first because it is pretty cheap at $20. Heat will shorten the lifespan of any device if isn't dealt with.

Has anyone had continued heat problems from their HP tablets or has this been resolved?

Has HP given up on the tablet market? I do not hear much from them on the tablet front. I do know that they are looking at developing a cell phone device but no other details. The company has been struggling for a while so that may be why there is not much innovation going on.
